Speartech added the purge solenoid wiring. Mounted the canister behind the battery. Also had to install restrictor with an 1/8" hole in the vent hose at the fuel tank.
I'm looking to do this to a LS swapped 73 Camaro. Did you have to use some kind of vapor separator? Or did you just run the tank vent hose to the canister and then the purge side to the solenoid? Also, what was the purpose of that restrictor you added?

Im trying to install a fuel injection tank in my car need new straps

No vapor separator. Just ran then vent hose to the canister and the purge side to the solenoid. The restrictor was to help prevent excess fuel pushing into the vent line when the fuel tank is completely full.

The straps, tank & fuel pump are from Tanks Inc.

Ok that's what I figured. Do you happen to have a wiring diagram for that purge setup?

I had Speartech add the purge harness, but it's a 2002 Camaro OS in a 411 pcm.

Cool thanks. Now my only problem is it might be programmed out in the tune... I'm not sure what all the previous owner removed when it was tuned

You can't disable the purge valve with Hp Tuners. You can only disable the P0443 purge valve circuit code, but that won't stop the purge valve from functioning. But the car has to be in closed loop for the purge valve to open.

Nice. That's what I was hoping for. I guess the code is just programmed out cause it goes into closed loop and throws no codes currently

Russ, curious as to what made you use the earlier PCM. I have a similar combo that's running an 08 1500 5.3 2wd E38 and T42.

Much simpler, as you don't need a trans range switch or TCM, easy to install a GM cruise control, cheaper pcm & pcm harness (Speartech). Plus the owner didn't like the look & fit of a DBW throttle pedal.

Very very nice. Enjoyed the build, thanks for sharing.

The car ought to be a dream to drive. Going to be a significant step up in every way from that 307/glide. owner should be thrilled.

Thank-you. Yes, the car drives like a new Camaro, has a very quiet exhaust, has a lot of power, cruises at 2100 RPM @75 mph, plus gets 30 mpg.

He is very happy with the car, and gets a lot of compliments at car shows/cruise nights.

like the others said, great work and well thought out. I can appreciate how much time goes into figuring out how to make all those little details work (evap, cruise control, pedal leverage, etc...)
