Default all in 1 mount kit

going thru some sites and came across this.
http://www.code510.com/1964-1967-a-b...rsion-kit.html

seems like a decent price for for everything included, mount wise. even if you buy a dirty dingo slider mounts, it still would be cheaper.

There's no reason for a new trans crossmember on an A body swap, the factory one can be easily modified and used. It also says it's designed around the LH8 oilpan which is also known as the muscle car pan. This pan does not fit the A body cars well at all. It hangs down far below the front crossmember so it has no protection.

if using the 4l60e transmission on a 66 a-body. how would you use the existing trans crossmember?

I have not messed with a 4l60e, but I believe you can just slide it back 3" or so and re-drill the frame rail. The trans tab can also be cut off and flipped or adjusted for proper angle and then rewelded. I think I've heard of some actually spinning the crossmember around backwards as well.
