Help mating a 5.3 with a 67 Saginaw Ok guys, Im new with the 3 speed standards. I have a 2007 5.3 and a 1967 Saginaw. Its going in a demolition derby car. I've read so much conflicting info that I'm now lost. Most research was from 6 years ago and there is not to many people out there doing this swap, or not that I have found. I need help! I'll listen to all advice. I'm sure by now it's very simple and inexpensive, just need the right information! Thanks!
Pretty sure there's no truly cheap way to do it, probably cheaper to either use a non-LSx, or at least go TH350.
Why use a good LM7 in a 2 minute destruction? I'd use a 305, which nobody wants, rather than an LM7 that everyone wants. Probably sell the LM7 for enough to buy 3 305s.
