2000 Camaro Engine/electrical in 1936 Chevy Currently have the ls1, trams, exhaust, shifter and fuel tank in the '36 and now I am tackling the wiring. Have a full harness (engine, interior and body) and I want to know what issues I'll have running everything. I will have VaTS tuned out of the pcm of course but shouldn't this be pretty much plug and play? It doesn't have to be pretty. I also have the camaro cluster mocked up as well its steering column.
What are the non essential things I can strip out? Can I ditch the BCM? Am I going about this the right way? I basically just need the Camaro gauges and Camaro lighting/headlights to work (as well as engine and fuel pump).

If you have all the modules, harnesses, column and gauges, I would keep it all. You won't have to get vats tuned out if you keep all the stuff that came with it. The BCM controls a lot of good modern features that are cool to have in older cars. Check out my build thread if you want. I have the factory BCM and gauges in my project
