Keep AFR correction?
Keep AFR correction? Hey Guys,
I picked up HP tuners a little while ago and have been reading up, trying to learn what I can before making major changes to my tune. Car info. is in my signature below. Swap is all stock except for mid-length headers. As I have found out, the truck tunes use a timing table and an AFR correction table to set timing. Cars do not use AFR correction. I'm wondering if anyone has any insight on whether or not it's worth it to keep the AFR correction table or to just zero it out and import a car timing table as a starting point?
Seems like keeping AFR correction would add some hassle to the tuning process but if it's better/safer to keep it, I'll consider it.
