I bought one to use on my '06 GTO pullout T56 and we could not get it to shift correctly once installed. Ended just buying a new T56 Magnum instead and sold off the GTO T56. I ask because I paid $400 for it and would like to sell it, HOWEVER, I do not feel right selling if it is going to pass the problem onto the new buyer.
Yes, the little finger is too long and too wide. If you hit it with a file, it will fix the problem and will shift fine. Mine had the same issue. If you compare it to the factory piece, you will see the difference in length and width.
