03 mach 1 I am finishing up a swap in to my 03 mach1 swap and trying to get all the factory gauges to work I have everything but the tach working. I know it goes over the scp network.
Question1 What signals/ sensors are needed for the pcm to give tach signal? does it read off the coils or does it read of the crank and cam sensor? ( I dont need the gm tach out put, I cant find anything for the factory ford pcm)
Question 2: Does the Ford PCM have to see the engine running to engine the cooling fans? My fan would not kick on at 195 or 205 I can turn the fan on hi and low with the scan tool,
Question 3: Does the Ford PCM have to see the engine running to send a/c clutch signal to engage it?
