New idea for coolant steam tubes

Notice how they tapped the top of the water pump and ran the coolant steam tubes into it. Anyone have any opinions on doing this instead of going back to the radiator or the upper rad hose?
On a side note, that intake is just gorgeous!

I think as long as you get it to the return side of the system, any convenient place is fine.
On my 04 GMC Envoy with the 5.3 it's tee'd into the heater hose close to the fittings on the side of the water pump.
