Jeep tachometer hookup
Jeep tachometer hookup Anyone have any information on how to hookup a factory cj7 jeep tachometer to a 5.3l?
I have the wire coming from the pcm but what i need help with is on the jeep side of things. From what im seeing herehttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b350/cantwait_forviolence/electrical/tachometer/tachometer_sketch.jpg the jeep tach is fed inline between the distributor and the coil which obviously doesnt apply with the 5.3l. I was going to try and hook up my tach feed wire to the tach lik shown in the pic above but i know that these ls engines send out the same feed as a 4cyl so im figuring i will need some sort of conversion box.
