Cam Options Have a 2004 5.3 to go in a 54 pickup and need some good advise on my options for a good mild cam for it. I don't need anything too radical at all, just want to hear it lope a bit at idle. E.C.M has been cleared of all of the unnecessary functions so I was looking for something that I could possibly use without changing injectors, etc. Thought I could draw good intel. from some of you experts on this site, thanks in advance.

I just bought a cam package from Texas Speed today for my project.
Sounds like your looking to get the same thing as myself out of your motor.
I went with the TS224R cam with a 114LSA, Springs and pushrods etc.
from what im this cam will work with your stock torque converter but you
will still need to have this combo tuned.
