powerglide on LS1, any problems?
powerglide on LS1, any problems? when i do my swap i am plannign to run a powerglide tranny. i was wondering if i woudl need to mod anything to prevent teh computer from flipping out because it can't find the tranny?
also, is there anythign special i ned to hook a glide to the LS1? i did a search and all anyone mentions is that i will need a small bolt circle TC, is this right?

I don"t know about the computer part but I think you need the flexplate off a 6.0 truck motor(the 5.3 will work too)but you need the spacer that comes on the trucks,it goes between the crank and flexplate.Also TCI makes a flex plate to put a Powerglide,th400.or th350 on an LS-1.I believe the T.C. will bolt up to the flexplate with no issues.The Powerglide will bolt right up to your block.
