Default lt1swap sites harness guide

My friend asked for some help on his 97 s10 which was previously a 383 th350 and before a 2.2. A local guy suggested a website lt1swap basically it seems like he is letting the computer stand alone apart from the vehicle and using a fuse center with relays to turn it on and off.
Good idea but the site is pretty difficult to follow lots of information all over the place has anyone on this forum refined the "instructions". He has the harness and 5.3 over at his house currently it all looks pretty simple since its unhooked from the stock fusebox. In my mind all i really need are constant 12v's switched 12v's and fuel pump relay (i wired his up before to continuous prime for his holley regulator). I just wanna be pretty sure i can do this before ruining his harness im not a genius but I have had to do enough wiring to be comfortable with solder, pins, and heatshrink. any help is appreciated

I have done some searching on here but mostly i just find pin numbers etc or ppl mentioning homemade harnesses then people say just go buy one made for your application.

Lt1swap is a great resource and has all the info for your swap. You say you're ok with solder, pins, etc, than you will be fine. Pin numbers are on the ecu connectors. Ask
questions and we will help. Steve

that is great i must have missed that. With ls, wiring had always held me back i can wire stuff with the info and domething infront of me. ive had alot of chances to buy 5.3and 4.8's but just couldnt afford all the custom harnesses available at that time.
if i did decide to go th350 im guessing it would have consequences wiring wise i have a basically brand new th350 i had gone through. im guessing it would either not run right or i would need i guess something like a manual ecu flash ? or would just leaving the sensors unplugged have no effect?

well next week heis getting a complete 5.3 trans fusebox and all wiring. we both have been going through all the iformation on that site and have decided trying to use the stock fuse box first would be best.
Im not sure if deleting.emissions would be a good idea but since its laid out we are going to try to sort through the harness.
two things we both though of instantly was the starter and neutral safety switch.
do we use the starting circuit for the 5.3 on connector c2 it has starter solenoid feed if we dont use that will it cause issues? i am assuming it wont matter to the pcm but im not sure.
Also im not really familiar with the 4l60e and the way the neutral safety switch works for it (im assuming if i dont remove the pin from the pcm and i wont have a issue).
I am a tad bit familar with vats though and we will probably look for someone local first to take.care of it and hopefully some of the emissions.
