the high pressure pump is on top of the engine and runs off the cam...I think the lower right pulley is for crankcase vacuum?

Yeah, I'm sure you're right. I wasn't pointing fingers at anybody, it's just that ever since this engine came out, all I have been hearing on the several forums I'm on is, "it's going to be impossible, they don't make anything for it". I know Ken could pull this off, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see him put one in that Nomad.....

It's a vacuum pump for the brake booster. All of these GM direct injection engines have some sort of vacuum pump for the brakes. Most are electric but the trucks are mechanical.

The LT4 is definitely cool, but for less money and less headaches I think the LSA is a bargain.
