How loud are FM 10's?

How loud are FM 10's? I've got an lq4 swapped c10, currently it has schoenfeld swap headers(88/98 truck) to dynomax 3"x12" bullet mufflers leading into flowmaster 40's with some oval tips coming out in front of the rear wheels.
A while back my driveshaft pretzeled and beat up the pipes on the way out. I'm wanting to replace my exhaust but can't decide between flowmaster 10's or hooker maxflows. I like the way the 40's sound, they droned a lot when dumped, but sounded awesome without any drone once I routed them out the sides. How much louder are single chambers(10's) than the dual chamber(40's)? Every YouTube video the 10's just sound more metallic but it's hard to judge the sound level.
I haven't heard anything negative about the Hooker Maxflows, my only hang up is that they are almost 3X the cost of the flowmasters. Does anyone have a similar setup running dual exhaust without cats? Are the Hookers worth it? Will I regret daily driving with flowmaster 10's?
