Default LS9 supercharger onto ls3

So I have a chance to buy a supercharger off a 2009 zr1. I had a few questions about whether or not it will work with my setup though. I have a 6l80e automatic with the stock ls3 accessories. Will my computer work with the supercharger? And will the accessories line up with the supercharger? Any help is appreciated! Thanks, Chris

Be aware that you can buy a used LSA (CTSv/ZL1) supercharger all day long for about $750.... it does need the lid, fuel rails, inj ($600-1K) and the pulleys to complete it. You will be limited by the stock cast crankshaft..... which a supercharger isn't nice to the snout and potentially cause problems.

The answer to your question is yes and no.

Supercharger will fit, computer will work, accessories will take some creativity. There are plenty of threads on LSA supercharger conversions for the LS3, but not many for the LS9, which has a different intake snout location.

Lingenfelter makes a snout that uses the same accessory spacing as the ctsv. Probably the easiest route but certainly not inexpensive.

Damn. $1500. Ouch. A take-off LSA supercharger with lid, injectors and fuel rail is less than the cost of this snout.

The only reason I was interested in the ls9 blower was because it was possibly cheap. But its looking like he wants too much. Looks like its an lsa blower for me! Where would you guys recommend getting one?

I found two on ebay from one seller, and it turned out they were only a few miles away. They are generally listed there every day. Also on this site in the classified section.

they come up all the time. CTSVOwners is a good forum, I'm sure there are G8 forums as well. Or you can contact Brett over at https://www.facebook.com/Jokerzperformance as he always has them around fully rebuilt and also ports them very reasonably.
