Default Advice on plug wires

I have Doug's headers on my ls 1 going into my Chevelle. still have the factory plug wires on there and two of the boots touch the headers on each side. Any suggestions for a shorter boot or does someone make a plug wire with a 90 degree boot for these engines?

There are 2 things you can do if you want to save a few bucks.

First, twist the boot on the coil to put a bit of upward tension on the wire and it might pull it off the header. If not, a sharp razer will easily trim the rubber for extra clearance.

I used Doug's headers PN D3338 and used MSD wires PN 32813 8.5MM. The ends are made so you can bend them to fit.

I used the MSD bendy wires and some cheapo kevlar heatsleeves from amazon on my daily driver with pacesetters. use lots of dielectric grease on the inside of the connector and the boot. The MSD's seem to like having their ends pulled off if you're not super careful.
