Installed Holley / Hooker mounts ..shifter cable in a bind
But since the drivetrain is set back an inch or more now my shifter cable to the horshoe shifter is in a severe bind now and not wanting to go into low gear and you have to do curls to be able to even get it into gear now.
I crawled under the car and the cable is in a a S shape, but then a hard 90 degree backwards before it gets into the cabin to the shifter if that makes sense.
The cable seems too long now and needs to be an inch or two shorter. This is also a reproduction cable that wasn't flexible to begin with but worked in my old set-up with standard swap mounts.
Having said that, I need to figure something out. I was looking at shiftworks K100 cable, it's supposed to be more flexible and adjustable but I don't know if it will be short enough.

Does anyone have a reputable and reasonably priced company they have used that can custom make me one to length? I might be better going that route. Just don't want to spend over $100 - 150 getting something made though.
Thanks
I measured my old shifter cable and you can see from the green tape thats where I need the cable to clip into the transmission bracket without binding. You take that and subtract it from the mount puts the cabled needing to be 27" long instead of the 30" I have now.

I contacted Herb at shiftworks and he said it's not listed but they have a 27" version of the 30" stainless version they have the website
I went ahead and ordered that, that will put me at the correct length and this cable is supposed to be more flexible and better than the old Taiwan one I have now anyways.
I think I'll be ok
