6.0 / 4l80e into dmax roller Wrecked my 2000 2500. Frame bent cab trash. Great drivetrain. Have purchased a 2001 2500hd that was a dmax/Allison setup. Guy used motor for project.
Got roller for 2500. Everything there beside engine and trans and driveshafts.
What should I keep an eye out for? I'm understanding these harnesses should be very similar and talk fine. I am just wanting to combine to get a work truck back.
Motor mounts, crossmembers, etc? I have read that need to swap fuel tanks and lines.
Most have done the opposite swap of this, but I feel you will be of help also!
