Those of you that have the Dakota VHX series gauges in your car, have you found it necessary to add the dimming feature that is available?

Not sure if this is the right forum you posted this question in but i will answer ya, I am sure the mods will move this one. I did not have to use the dimming feature I left it as it came from DD

Another thing to remember is that you can adjust the brightness in the setup. The same question was asked on SNS and the majority said it was unnecessary.

Not necessary but it make it a lot easier to change the brightness if needed. Using the external **** as opposed to using the DD buttons. I added it to my VHX setup.
