I used a hose for a 2001 Corvette on mine.

The faster ratio box from some third gen F-bodies with 15" wheels, or some 9C1 models or performance G-bodies can offer the advantages of the XH, minus the reduces reduced steering radius. Educate yourself on identifying the good boxes by removing the top and inspecting the worm gear before you remove from a salvage vehicle.

Benchworks rebuilt my original @ 200,000mi and I have put another 30,000+ on it.

Hoses are pretty easy. To remove the AC cut-out switch from the hi-psi line, I have used non-AC G or third gen F hoses.
