LS2 and L33 engine parts interchangeability?
LS2 and L33 engine parts interchangeability? I was planning on building up my LS2 bare block for my swap, however, I may go with a quicker intermediate route and buy a complete L33 engine to swap into my car just to get it up and running quicker/cheaper. If I can find an L33 for ~$1000, which would basically be the cost of a FAST intake manifold, it would be an overall minor expense that could be resold/recouped later on as well.
However, I do want to eventually build the LS2, so I am trying to figure out exactly how similar in parts the two engines are.
Would I be able to use a modified stand alone LS2 engine harness on the L33 engine? I am assuming the PCM would be completely different?

So the engine size from 5.3l vs 6.0l won't change/affect anything with the ecm or can the ecm be coded to run for a 5.3l?
If that is the case that the engine harness are cross compatible, that'll save me having to convert two different harnesses.
