planning my swap I've bought a 1980 F350, extended cab, single wheel.
351M in all its blazing 134hp glory! LoL,
My plan is to keep the T19 trans, and put in a 4.8 gen 3 (i have it and I'm on a brutal budget).
I think I've got the mounts figured out and how to get the engine/ trans to play nice,
I'm not sure if i need to have a speed sensor for the pcm?
to avoid and idle surge or hunting when i roll up to a set of lights,
any thoughts are appreciated,
