S. E. S. led indicator light
Finishing the wiring on my 07 Classic 5.3 into 1948 Chevy pickup. Will any 12 volt led light work or does it require a special led light? Is this correct....PCM provides ground to led light, other wire on led goes to key on 12 volts?

I have used "built in resistor" type LEDs in these type of applications before. There are 3 and 5 mm sizes. I never had an issue with them staying on or glowing while the engine was running. They are easy to connect, positive and negative wires to 12V connections.
You can buy them at your local radio shack or other electronics store. Here is what they look like- http://www.detroitspeed.com/Electrical/120901-leds.html
The only color I wasn't able to get at Radio shack was a blue one (I used yellow for CEL, green for turn signal and blue for high beam). I preferred the 3mm versions. The blue one is BRIGHT! Here is a link from radioshack- https://www.radioshack.com/products/...ant=5717538053
