L92/4l80e
L92/4l80e I picked up a cheap L92 ($600) yesterday and am thinking about tossing it into my '70 Skylark using the new Holley A-body kit. That aside, I don't have a harness yet, nor pedal. I do however have the truck intake, rails injectors and throttle body, an extra E38 ecm from my Chevelle project. Now for my questions:
Who makes a good 58x harness
I have a 4l80E to mate to the L92. Do I need to source a TCM or can the E38 be used to shift the 4l80e?
Should I source a pedal from an L92 based truck or buy an LS3 pedal/throttle body combo
Can I use the truck maf or is an LS3 map preferred.
That's about it. My plan is a poor mans ls3 in the Skylark. It is a convertible and I just want a nice 500hp cruiser. That means removing the VVT and DOD and going from there. I expect the project to start after the summer.
If there are any guys local (Tampa) I would love to check out your swap.

I bought mine from Bill, and it has been great since.
GM Performance sells a kit as well, Speartech, PSI. Or you can make it yourself. You will need a TCM with this combo.
