LS1 S2000 swap

LS1 S2000 swap hello, I've been thinking about LS swapping my S2000 lately. Currently my car is supercharged and making good power, but the bottom end is on its way out. My plan is to buy an old camaro or GTO with an LS1 and 6 speed manual transmission. I want to change all the fluids and drive it around for a few months to make sure all is well. Maybe slap an LS7 intake manifold and cam in there (good idea?) and eventually swap it into My S2000 using the import muscle kit. Most of the cars I'm looking at have 100K plus miles. Anything I should pay specific attention to when i'm buying the car? My goal is to have a reliable V8 S2000 that I can do a lot of track days with as well as many hard miles on the street. Please fill me with knowledge
