Drive by wire gas pedal?

Drive by wire gas pedal? I picked up at 2016 5.3 and trans and I also got the drive by wire gas pedal from the same vehicle it came out of the truck unfortunately that gas pedal is shaped really really weird. Is it possible to buy one of the lokar assemblies and make that work, and if so does anyone know if the pigtail would fit? Or maybe even a CTS V pedal to work with the L83?

Hello. Yes, a different pedal could be used. I had a similar situation with a LS1 swap a few years back. My harness was reworked by Current Performance Wiring and a Corvette pedal was used I instead of the factory GTO that came with the engine. The ECM programmer should be able to help you. I took the pedal that came with mine, hacked it and made a franken-pedal using my original pedal attached to the LS pedal assembly. Wasn't too hard, and only took an hour or so. I tried to find a picture of it, but can't for some reason.

Thanks for the feedback, I would love to modify mine but it is made of hard plastic and not metal, and I think once cut I need to figure out how to attach something to it, any suggestions lol? Pic posted is for reference only but it is the exact same one.
