Need Help with broken LS1 Vacuum/MAP plug I just picked up an LS1 intake as part of an engine I bought, and didn't think about this part not being available through GM parts. Apparently, they only come with the intakes and are not sold in any parts catalog. Does anyone have a broken intake that I can buy the plug from, or any ideas on how I can repair this?

If you can't find a replacement you may be able to repair what you have. The material I think, is nylon 66 and just about nothing sticks to it. There is another thread "smoothed truck intakes" that goes into plastic welding this stuff.

So after looking around the internet, I saw that someone is removing the rear plugs and putting in a freeze plug for swapping an LS6 intake on the LS4, and then mounting a MAP sensor elsewhere on the intake.

If no one comes up with one for me in the next few months, I may just do this and buy an EGR plug and drill and tap that for the MAP.
