58k mile LS1 questions Bought a wrecked 2002 WS6 with 58k on the clock, only able to drive it on and off trailer due to damage. Car has been sitting for a couple of years, but started every few months and allowed to warm up. Engine runs great, great oil pressure, doesn't overheat etc.....does sound like it has some piston slap when cold.
What, if anything, would you do to the motor (preventative maintenance) before dropping it into another vehicle??
