cam sensor/ spark issue

cam sensor/ spark issue I have my caprice wired and tried to light it off and it won't start. I hear the fuel pump and can smell gas. I have no spark. I pulled a plug and visually seen no spark. I have power to the coils and I have 12v going to the red supply wire to the cam sensor. Do I have a bad cam sensor.?On the cam sensor signal wire should there be 12v while cranking? Also I couldn't get a scan tool to talk to the ecm. So I don't know if there is a code being thrown. My check engine light isn't coming on. The motor is an 03 6.0. I had the ecm re-flashed. The ecm I bought wasn't oem to the motor.
New or modded original harness? If original, make sure you have all the grounds hooked up. There are two at the rear heads and a third that is down kind of behind the power steering pump, that one is for the coils and is easy to overlook.
