Tough luck on that first one you bought, that's always a fear of mine. And there is definitely tons more room on a 4WD without the diff and driveshaft in there. Yes, I'm putting the turbo on the passenger side but haven't decided it I want to try a trick manifold or try to build my own. I was actually surprised that the f-body manifold fit too with no modification, especially with the stock bulky steering shaft cover and all. This is the first swap that I didn't use swap headers so I wasn't sure what to expect and I didn't want to wast money on headers when they will be coming out shortly anyways.

My motor is out of an 04 gto so it happens to be cable throttle. Its Slowely coming together. Is ee ur switching it to RWD, Wish i coulda switched mine to awd.

Not much to update other than nailing down the tune when I get time and working out small bugs. Overall I've put 500 miles on it and it's pretty fun to drive let alone when the turbo is on. I installed a set of intrepid fans which fit beautifully and a Ford OEM trans cooler which keeps the 80e nice and cool. I weighed this thing when I bought it and it was full up and again now that I'm driving it and the results are:
Stock 4.3/4L60E 4WD full tank of gas: 3920lbs
LS1/4L80E 2WD with full tank of gas: 3580lbs

Finally working on my flanges and schedule 10 pipe to make the turbo manifold! I have put a couple thousand miles on the blazer and I feel that all of the bugs are worked out and ready to move on.
The Speed INC. TU2 cam Really puts you back after 2800 RPM but with a stock 80E stall it is gutless until then, it won't even spin the tires. So if you get this cam get no less than a 2800. I'm excited to see how it performs with boost. I added this part because not a lot of people report back how it feels out of boost or with a stock stall. I plan on going way bigger myself but it's after the turbo is lined out.

I got the oil feed and return done, return goes into the front corner of the pan and feed is from cooler block off.
Wastegate placement finalized and the crossover all welded up.
And all of the wrapping done to control the heat as well as a turbo blanket. I also put the 2BAR map and injectors in so all that's left is the BOV and fuel pump which will be done tomorrow.

Here is the finished product. On just 7psi this thing is a blast to drive around. All I need to do now is lower it and add an intercooler down the road but luckily I have e85 everywhere around me. Long term it will get an 8.8 rear end and cage but I might just drive it around without sticky tires to buy me time.

Just some updates on how it sits now. Also, the traction bars work amazing! I had to add a battery cutoff switch since the battery is relocated to the back due to tech inspection. I went through some changes due to bad machine work (started getting light piston slap and realized 4 bores were a little too loose so picked up a gen 4 5.3 and slapped it in. With a DA of 7088' (Pueblo Motorsports Park, Colorado) it ran a 14.6@97 N/A with the 80e and 3.42 rear gears with 28" tall slicks so I'm hoping the boost makes it a little more impressive.
