Which A/C compressor?
Which A/C compressor? Going to use the Holley a/c bracket and am wondering is there anything special or different about the SD7B10 compressor that Holley sells, Holley 199-102, verses a new SD7B10 purchased from Amazon or elsewhere??

Sanden compressor - Saltillo Mexico There is no difference. Holley just offers it for sale at retail pricing. I bought mine on E bay. After the purchase, I found out that Sanden compressors are made in Saltillo Mexico. I go there regularly for business and could probably have bought one for $50.
Sanden is a global company and I wouldn't hesitate to buy one from an off shore supplier. They are all built to the same engineering specification. Yes, products built to the correct engineering spec in China are often better than those from other regions. I purchase millions of dollars worth of tooling from China each year.
