Default LS2 gas pedal MIA

Short story.
Got a pretty nice LS2 from a 2009 Pontiac G8. E38 ECM.
Automatic transmission.
Did not get the gas pedal, gas pedal harness or the part of the wire harness that plugs in to the X1 on the ECM.

What is going to be my best plan of attack on getting this to a simple swap?
Is there a gas pedal from something else that will work?

I dont have any plans to do any tricky stuff with cams or any crazy mods.

I would really like some educated input from somebody that has been down this road.
Thanks

Consider editing the title of your thread to L76 or E38. You don't have an LS2.

As you already see J1 is missing on the G8. This is normal and is because Australia integrates J1 with chassis wiring.

Normally during a swap the majority of our customers don't have pedal connectors and/or ALDL because that's left in the factory vehicles. During a rework service or a new harness we populate the necessary connectors on your harness. We can also supply you with a compatible pedal if you would like.

So this is only a negative if you were going to make your own harness for standalone use.

The AU based chassis did some odd stuff. I would find a G8 pedal and not mix and match.

Justin;
Thanks for the kind response.
You sound like you are very well versed on the G8. The last conversion I did (LS1) didnt seam this difficult. I may be looking in to a standalone harness. Just dont know if I can choke down the expense.
Any helpful hints would be appreciated.
Thanks
Pete
