What belt?

Does anyone know what belt i need? The one i got is just a little bit to long and the parts store say they must know from what model.

Look at the belt...the length is right in the part number and it is listed in millimeters. Figure out what you need and go to a real parts store where they know something besides "make and model please..."

serpentine belts are the easiest thing in the world to buy. The number of ribs and length are right in the part number.

for example a goodyear D4060956 has 6 ribs while the last three numbers show it to be 95.6 inches long

The belt you have looks to be 3-4 inches too long. Just order a handfull of them at shorter lengths, find the one that fits and return the rest.

Summit racing's web site lets you see what sizes are available. Just go the link below, select the number of belt ribs you need and it will give you a list of the available belt lengths
