Torque app and tans temps Posted here because I see people use the Torque app a lot.
Anyone getting the transmission temperature PID to function on a 4l60?
I loaded the PID and have a gauge on the screen but it doesn't function.
I went went with the Troque APP specifically for this feature. Even bought a cheap phone just to run it as I use Apple for everything.
Can't seem to find whether the 2006 LS2 and 4l65E I have even make that info available to the OBDII....?
The guy that did my harness has no clue.

i had it function for about a year when i ran a 4l60e
eventually i switched phones and when i downloaded the app again the trans temp was gone, along with gear indicator and converter slip %

Trans temps app Found it! If you tap the background to add a gauge, scroll down the list toward the end there are two for trans temps, method 1 and 2. Have not tried them yet because I'm down while putting carpet in.
