Looking at both of these options for a '68 camaro T56 install and was wondering if one is better than the other?
I plan to use the stock master cylinder and throw out bearing from a 2002 Trans Am donor car.
Another question, how is the clutch rod hole in the firewall sealed when using these brackets??

Have you considered DSE's bracket?

They are just plates that hold the master at an angle; other than bling I wouldn't think there could be much difference. Considering where it's located I doubt anyone will ever see it, but should you need to change the angle for any reason the ATS would be an easy cut/weld.
As for sealing, when I went to OReilley to buy a strip of that A/C sealant (dum dum dape?) they just gave me the whole roll, so I'm going to use that I guess.

The meanstreets bracket is machined aluminum and, although it is more expensive, I think it's the best looking. The ATS bracket is commonly used but I haven't found any info on how people are sealing it to the firewall at the lower angled portion??
