Default A Few Questions...

Im working on a 6.0 LS swap into my 72 Chevelle and I have a few questions.

First and most important, I've been getting the wiring ready so I can get this thing started soon. I noticed that when I connect the battery, I can hear this noise coming from the throttle body. It sounds like a ringing noise. It seems like its coming from the throttle body but im not positive. Any ideas on what this is?

Second, I bypassed the wires for the alternator and just used a conversion kit so I can wire the alternator straight up to the old chevelle wiring. So what do I do with the PCM alternator wiring? Can I just leave it?

Lastly, just wondering what connects to, or what I should do with with these two vacuum ports on the intake.

Thanks in advance for your help. Man, all this is making me wish I stayed with an old engine where I knew what the heck I was doing.

Noise coming from throttle is the Idle Air Control valve. This is normal.
You can delete the PCM wiring, that's normal for a swap.
I can't view attachments or I'd tell you what to do about the vacuum ports. They're most likely for the PCV and go to ports on the valve covers.

The IAC makes noise even with the ignition off. It starts making noise as soon as I connect the battery. Is that normal?

The image you posted is the vacuum referenced fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail of a truck engine and it's companion vacuum port on the manifold. Connect these together.
