Fuel cell exposed to sun?

Fuel cell exposed to sun? I'm working on a tube chassis project, and I've never actually considered what to do about the fuel tank. I have a 15 gallon black anodized fuel cell that will go in the back. The car has no body so it will be exposed to the sun, sometimes throughout the course of the entire day. It is a vented cell, but it still seems that on 100 degree days with nothing but sunlight, the fuel might become dangerously hot. Changing out fuel cells isn't impossible, but the entire car is either flat black or army green, and I'm trying hard to stock to that theme.
Has anyone had any experience with something like this before?

I asked a couple of my buddies with rock crawlers before I posted here, the results were mixed.
One said that black motorcycle gas tanks sit in the sun all day so don't worry about it.
Another said that the fuel will get hot and either swell the tank or escape rapidly from the vent.
Another said that the worst thing to happen is my fuel temps hit 140 degrees or so.
