1959 Biscayne 2 door wagon

on the plug wire iirc i bought a set of taylor cut to length wires and you can buy a set of lt1 style ends that work with the ls truck coils... i can probably dig up a p/n if you need.
id be curious to see if an off the shelf set of lt1 wires would work in your case, seems like they'd be pretty close length just running in the oppostie direction.

I lived at the corner of Waldo and Chrysler.
After I posted, I wondered if the Hiboy even still existed.
Congratulations on the startup. I don't think I have ever done a build where it just started on the first attempt. I get a kick out of the first quick turn of a key on the car build shows that always fire 'em right up

The start up on my '61 was problematic due to fuel pressure.
Well, I need to lower the engine. I am thinking I do have V8 stands. I have a 6° driveline angle. Doesn't make sense to me that I have that high angle when set up the same as others that don't. I have the transmission raised at teh back 1" too.

Thanks, it is always a good feeling.
When you first started this thread, I thought it was going to be a simple toss in a LS powertrain and drive it. I should of known you'd make it nice with a lot of cool ideas.
When I grow up, I want to have your ability. LOL

Every time I hear that phrase I think of that old roller coaster ride at Silver Dollar City I used to ride as a kid, wonder if it's still there?
or theres a 45 deg version p/n 46069
just tryin to help a brotha out for all the awesome threads

It's all welded and not epoxied.

It's notched to clear the CPP power steering box, but I'd say they went just a little overboard!

Put the F body fans on it to see if they are going to fit. They are hitting the box so some trimming is in order.

I could gain some room if I take the CPP cover off the box, but there's something about paying $350 for a PS box that makes you want to let people know you paid that much so it's staying....

Initial trimming took care of a lot of it, so I think it's going to work. My project for tomorrow is to make some brackets to mount the fans.
A friend bought one that is similar, but different from one of the big name restoration parts places and it hits. I think he paid about double and had it too long to send back. I told him we should notch the tank, but he has problems cutting a new radiator. Now you need to take all the stickers from all the products you purchased and place them on the rear side windows NASCAR contingency (now ricer) style.

I probably got the same one your friend did.
One difference for me: I used a Borgeson 600 unit instead fo the CPP 500. I don't recall why now.
The notched radiator just BARELY fits...actually, I had to raise the radiator a bit for clearance as well. You can see the notches in the mounting holes I had to cut:
Thanks guys!
