Which harness and ecu can I use?

Which harness and ecu can I use? I have a 2006 5.3 L33 on the way but it is coming without any harness or ecu. I am going to need to rework the harness for my swap into a 1965 nova. I know where to find all the pinouts and everything, but I am wondering what years of harnesses I can adapt for this application. Is there a range of years or applications for the harness and ecu that I can make work? What is the easiest? I will need to have the computer tuned anyway so that's not a huge concern. Thanks in advance for any help or advice!
I can't answer you directly, but I can tell you that if you are starting from scratch, it might be worth looking at something like the Holley HP. By the time you take into account the tuning, harness, ECU, adding a wideband, etc...you are very close to the cost of the HP. You can learn to tune yourself (which to me is half the fun).

well I have the same L33 in my Buick. If you are doing the wiring yourself I would go 03-06 Silverado with 4.8 or 5.3. Get the pcm, wiring, gas pedal and tac box with its wiring all from same donor as it match each other. You have the "B" code engine from 04-06 Silverado 4x4 to my knowledge. Lt1Swap has wiring info, can do tune mail order to pcm. He did a great job with mine and was quick turn around.
