Keeping AFM / VVT in a swap?
I have a 1975 Jeep Wagoneer. 4WD, 4,500 lbs.
I want to put a 5.3 liter with AFM or possible a late model 4.3 V6 in it. The 4.8... maybe. No gas savings vs the 5.3 with AFM but more power than the 4.3. Dunno.
Goal is dead-nuts reliable DD with 15 mpg minimum.
Can the VVT / AFM features be made to work properly in a swap application?
My ECU-882C-1-TTL will run all the items including the VVT, and more, that you request.
