Lq9/th400 swap question Hey guys
well i own a 95 chevy silverado and a swaped a 6.0 with a th400 with an electronic vss and my question is does that vss works or do i have to get the cable one and the dakota digital to get the truck runing

Having just done this myself, you do not need the VSS to run the swap, but to run the speedo. The electronic sender will give the correct signal for the LS pcm to interpret to the speedo (if you are not still running it to the factory PCM). Both use the same 1000 pulse per mile signal. You will be able to fine tune the speedometer signal through the PCM tuning
