Cam Question - Howard's Cam
So i am still deciding on what cam to run.
But here is a question. Does this seem correct? And what do you think it would look like with an LS1 intake? And yes, before everyone tries to toss out the point, I do know there are a lot better options for intakes. This is what I have right now.
"Although a weenie cam, it makes great street power and alot of our customers are happy with it in there 6.0L Trucks and Carbed swap muscle cars...No extra work needed other than springs.
We run a howards #190245-12 222/225 @50 .561/.578 on a stock LQ4. Dyno'd with a 750cfm carb made 460HP @ 5900RPM / 475TQ @ 4700RPM. Makes a nice street engine with some extra get n go."
I saw the PowerBlockTV LQ4 and they only made 411/394 with a 220/224 cam.

The Howard's 222/225 is my go-to cam for a mild street 5.3/6.0.
I've used it in the truck, 5.3 Chevelle, and my Corvette.
There is a lot more to a cam than its duration @.050. That number should only be used as a guide.
