Default L96 swap HELP!

Hi Guys,

Having some problems. I have a matching L96 engine, trans, ecm with pedal, maf ect.

Engine has been swapped into a 2007 ford. It cranks, fires a bit and if it runs it will be very rough then dies right away.

ECM programmed by Brendan at LT1swap
58 PSI at the rails during crank

Codes:

- P0122 Throttle/pedal Position Sensor A Circuit LOW input
- P0123 Throttle/pedal Position Sensor A Circuit High input
- P0223 Throttle/pedal Position Sensor B Circuit High input
- P2122 Throttle/pedal Position Sensor/switch D circuit LOW input

I have swapped pedal with known good one, as well as checked all pins for continuity between pedal & ECM. No change.

Also IAT says -40F on scanner, I jumped the sensor wires on the harness and it read 300F, so it is connected. I changed MAF with a known good one and no changes.

I have tried starting it with the MAF and Pedal unplugged with no changes.

Just bought a Autel 802 Scanner yesterday
Anyone have any suggestions?

I checked continuity to the throttle body from the PCM, everything is connected as is. Tested the throttle body, and it seems fine.

Strangely I tried to start the engine with out the throttle body and it seems like it ran similar to with it installed. It also did not throw any additional codes to the ones it has been reporting from the start:

Codes:

- P0122 Throttle/pedal Position Sensor A Circuit LOW input
- P0123 Throttle/pedal Position Sensor A Circuit High input
- P0223 Throttle/pedal Position Sensor B Circuit High input
- P2122 Throttle/pedal Position Sensor/switch D circuit LOW input

I blocked the throttle body with a piece of aluminum sheet metal and it fired right up. I cannot for the life of me figure where the vacuum leak would be from?

Any suggestions?

I don't know if what I experienced with my (stock) L96 swap will be of any benefit to you, but here goes.

Mine was running terrible, would run extremely rich (throwing P0172 and P0175 codes, and occasionally also get a P0300 (misfire) and it stumbled badly, at any RPM over about 3K, there was little to no response to additional throttle pedal input, until the RPM was allowed to come back down.

Problem turned out to be my tune. My E38 ECM tune was set up for 30lb/hr injectors.

The L96 is a Flex Fuel Engine and uses injectors (details below) which flow 50 lbs/Hr@58PSI.

Once my tuner made the adjustments for this, problem solved.

OEM Part # 12613412
Delco Part # 217-3412
Wells Part # M1410
Standard Part # FJ1089
BMW Part # 67696
Delphi Part # FJ10736

Resistance 12.5 ohm

Flow:
440 cc/min - 42 lbs/hr at 43psi (3BAR) of pressure
520 cc/min - 50 lbs/hr at 58psi (4BAR) of pressure
