Default GM A-Body 64-67 question

I have a 5.3 lm7 with a return fuel system.

Is the factory return line on our 64-67 fine to use with the truck return rail?

If 5/16 or better I would use it. it doesnt see any pressure. I would, however, replace the soft line with sae 30r9 and efi clamps to be sure modern fuels don't eat them

Ok thank you.

I guess I bought a corvette filter/reg for nothing.

Any inline fuel filter will work now since the truck return system regulates itself correct?

Correct as long as it's an EFI filter that can handle the pressures.
