new here! Would Like some info/help hey guys, I was looking for some help with an ls2 swap. I have an 86 chevy 2wd pickup and I'm running a porterbuilt level 3 front dropmember with tubular a arms. i found an ls2 motor out of a 2005 GTO an was wondering if you guys could help me out with info on everything i will need to do this swap.Also any problems you might have encountered. I have limited knowledge on mechanical things, so bare with me. I've been doing some research, but i just want to make sure i have everything lined up. I've seen a lot of things about swapping wiring harnesses, do they make pre made ones that you can buy or do you have to reconfigure your own. thanks in advance.
Cool truck. I believe Holley makes all the swap components for that truck.
For the wiring harness there are several forum sponsors that will build you a standalone harness.

You could always get a wire harness from wrecking yard and do it yourself and spend
