Lq9 in 04 z71 Hey guys,
I'm installing a 02 lq9 and 4l65e into a 04 silverado. Will I be able to use the engine harness on lq9 or will I have to use the one that came with the truck?
Also the lq9 came from an 02 Escalade, can I use the rear harness from escalade for fuel pump and rear tail lights? Any info would be appreciated.

So in reality what I have is the complete escalade minus the body then adding unibody a body. I will remove the awd transfer and front end and replace with z autotrac and selectable front end.
I actually have it running now with unrelated cab and wiring harness from escalade. I'm in the process of welding cab/bed together and it's my opinion it will be easier to just use the z71 wiring since its a complete cab, interior......just plug engine harness and rear harness in when I set cab/bed down on it........I know I will have to remove the air ride circuit from rear harness but hope the rest is pretty much straight forward.
The left over harness and 5.3 I plan on dropping in a s-10 with a t56.
On different note I just received ASA cam, trunion upgrade, springs, seals, timing chain and oil pump. Left to round up is long tubes and e fans.......escalade had 34" radiator and I built a harness oh also I'm looking for a 08+ manifold and throttle body and a inline 6 torque converter.
Should be a fun little daily driver. I have a 55 mile one way almost all interstate drive to work. A little bit of light to light drive during the day between projects.
