LS3-running isses

Working on a 1959 resto rod vette . Ls3 480 crate motor and a 4l80E transmission. Had a hard time starting and the vehicle. Fuel pressure was too high, Installed a regulator. Now it idles decent but stalls out when put into drive or reverse. Transmission fluid level is good. Any ideas?

What computer are you running? Did it come with a tune for that engine? Sounds like the tune needs some tweaking.

ls3 -running issues

did not come with a tune kit,but I tend to agree that it needs some tweaking. I have no idea what ecm came with it. everything came with the crate motor,harness,ecm,maf.

supposed to be ,lol
I do have a updated tcm gm part number 19302411, comes with a flash drive and a way tweek the trans. but since I've never tunes a vehicle before, I really don't want to start by messing with the trans.
