Corevette Accessory drive for chevelle For a 68 Chevelle. I've searched and read but most posts dont give a conclusion after some suggestions on parts. I have all the Holley swap parts, 302-2 pan, Blackheart headers, and forward mount mounts. I need an entire FEAD, I bought a long block and need everything, bolts tensioners etc.
The question is, what year corevette FEAD is best? I know some of the drawbacks are replacing parts down the road..... but I want all the components tucked in close to the motor (but don't want to spend $$$$ on a custom kit) and I have vintage air and would like to hook it back up with the 6.0.
Finally, when going with a kit from somewhere like Pace or Holley, and it includes a new balancer, is the balancer swapped? I would think that the balancer is motor specific and can't just be swapped around.

I run the Corvette accessories also on my 1969 Chevelle. I use the high Mount Holley AC bracket and compressor. I replaced the steering box with a quick a ratio Jeep Cherokee unit which is super common to do.

You just missed a complete setup for 500 bucks in the classifieds.....
I pieced one together from Rock Auto and GM parts direct, right at 800 bucks......you can use an F-body WP, the belt just rides on the back of the pulley, I just did this on my brother's Chevelle.....wanted his power steering back...

You can get the water pump amd balancer from Rock Auto for 05 to 07 Corvette....
