Default Wiring Harness Parts

I'm swapping a 5.3 in my 85 C10 and want to build my own harness due to desired PCM location and need to know where is the best place to buy various harness parts and crimpers? I know there are about 7 different crimps on various GM vehicles does anyone have a chart showing the different ones with the name for us rookies?

I thought LT1swap.com was good place to start for info on building your own harness. He has some various how-to's set up, and talks about some of the tools needed. For harness parts and plugs and stuff I like currentperformance.com they have things laid out nicely. Not the cheapest place to go, but they also have good tech help, so the added price is worth it to me.

Start here:

From that you can identify the connector, order parts from them to crimp on, or use information from there to go to Mouser.com or go to theelectricaldepot.com & look for Delphi connectors: https://theelectricaldepot.com/weath...1e93960575a3f1

Waytek wire is another option. I also highly recommend downloading the Delphi catalog.
