Lq4 swap Hello people! Im very new to the ls world but im excited to learn, im soon going to begin doing a swap on my 1993 300zx, now originally I wanted a ls6, but quickly realized that they are way to expensive for me, so I did some research and found the lq4 to be a good replacement, problem is thought I dont know how similar the ls engines are to the lq4, im using this swap kit

so I need to know does the lq4 mount up the same as the ls? Will I be able to use this kit or will I have problems? I plan on throwing a ls3 intake on and maybe a mew camshaft, but would the bell housing be the same?

This is correct. Also i believe the 99 lq4 had an extended crankshaft and wont bolt up to a 4l60e. 4L80e obviously and the older th350 th400 trans will with no spacer required. Basically the 99 6.0s had the spacer added to the crankshaft. You didnt say what trans youre gonna run but thought id throw that out here. Seen a guy a while back get bit by this
